Having come into power in a fraudulent election, the tyrant uses his power to punish and destroy his political enemies. This was a rigged trial, a corrupt judge, and an angry jury in an attempt to take down one man who they hated beyond all reason. We have known, for years, that our system of justice was broken, but we are appalled to see how badly broken it is. There is no justice left in the United States. The law is dead. It's a free-for-all now and those who have power are using that power for their own, politcal ends. Absolutely disgusting what they did to our previously fair and impartial system of justice. We, the People, now know that it is rigged against us and have no trust in this system. It's lawlessness now, since no one will trust to submit themselves to this system of justice. That's what the evil monster Biden has done. He destroyed democracy to save himself. He threw lady Justice under the bus to save himself.

The America we grew up in is no more. It has become a banana republic, ruled by an evil cretin who came to power in a stolen election. A very sad day for America, when it has come to this.

Jury Finds Trump Guilty on All 34 Felony Charges in New York Trial

“What an absolute farce, all the more so because I would bet that most of the jurors if put on the spot wouldn’t be able to explain to you what crimes Donald Trump is supposed to have committed, crimes that rose to the level of felonies. You can also be sure that the Orange Man Bad NPCs on social media couldn’t explain what “crime” was committed either, all they care about is Orange Man Guilty. Keep in mind that these are 34 made-up felonies based on how an expense was recorded by accountants and attorneys. Trump did not record the expense.The expense was recorded according to accounting standards.

Keep in mind that a single accounting reporting charge, a misdemeanor, was magically turned into 34 federal felonies of election violations, if memory serves, the argument being that Trump won the election by misreporting the expense. There are so many civil and criminal show trials going on against Trump that it is hard to keep track of all the absurdities. Keep in mind that it is a case without complainants, without harmed parties.

It is a case brought by a prosecutor who can show no party harmed.

What is frightening is that legally this is a case for which there are no legal grounds for bringing it. Yet, the bar associations, the law schools, the media said nothing. Getting Trump was so important that law was sacrificed for the purpose. Trump’s demonization made a fair trial impossible, and few jurors can resist using their power against a rich person.

The weaponization of law in order to interfere with an election–in other words the prosecutor is guilty of interfering in an election–the charge brought against Trump–means the future of America is tyranny.

An appeal will be made, but a state where justice is as corrupt as New York is incapable of producing a decision based on law.

If there is any fight left in Americans, and I am unsure, a prison sentence from the totally corrupt judge should launch a civil war. Many would say it is about time or past time.

If not, the people have submitted to tyranny.

On What Counts was Trump Charged and Convicted?

Trump was charged with 34 counts of Falsifying Business Records. Falsifying Business Records in the Second Degree is a misdemeanor defined in NY Penal Law 175.05 [LINK]

On May 31, 2024 Contemplations on the Tree of Woe wrote at substack : 

However, that definition doesn’t apply here, because Trump was charged with Falsifying Business Records in the First Degree. This is a felony charge, defined as follows in NY Penal Law 175.10 [LINK]

So the felony is the commission of the misdemeanor when the “intent to defraud includes an intent to commit another crime or to aid or conceal the commission thereof.” And it is this latter provision that all of the courtroom drama has been about.

Perhaps a reasonable man might conclude that Trump had falsified business records - but that would merely be the Class A misdemeanor. What is the crime that Trump “intended to commit, or conceal the commission thereof” that would justify making this a felony?

No one knows. Trump has never been convicted of another crime, nor been convicted of aiding or concealing the commission of a crime. To circumvent this… inconvenience, the New York Judge Merchan specifically instructed the Jury that they didn’t have to decide which specific crime Trump committed or concealed.

Obviously, if the Prosecution believed they could prove beyond a reasonable doubt that Trump committed a specific crime or concealed a specific crime, they’d have attempted to do so in Court. The fact is that they did not because they could not.

Thus Trump has been convicted of feloniously falsifying business records to commit or conceal some undefined crime for which he has not been convicted, indicted, or even arrested, and for which the Jury didn’t even have to agree about.

If this sounds absurd, that’s because it’s absurd. Imagine if this is how the legal system worked: 

• A little old lady dies while you are walking past her on the street. The Prosecutor charges you with felony murder - she died while you were committing a felony! What felony, you ask? We’re not sure which, maybe you were in the neighborhood to commit burglary, maybe you were in the neighborhood to commit grand theft auto, maybe you were planning to murder her. It doesn’t matter. We’ll tell the Jury they don’t have to be unanimous on that, just unanimous that she died while you were doing whatever it is you were doing, you criminal scum.

• You meet with some people. Some of those people later commit crimes. The Prosecutor charges you with conspiracy to commit a crime! Which crime, you ask? We’re not sure which, maybe you were planning a robbery, maybe you were planning a murder, maybe you were planning a wire fraud. It doesn’t matter. We’ll tell the Jury that they don’t have to be anonymous on that, just unanimous that you met those people to plan whatever it is you were planning, you criminal scum.

What Happens Next?

Trump will be sentenced on July 11, 2024. The maximum punishment he faces for each of the 34 counts is 4 years in prison. That sentence could be applied concurrently or sequentially, putting the theoretical maximum range at 4 to 136 years. However, a separate New York law caps the maximum prison sentence for Class E felonies at 20 years. Therefore, we can safely say the maximum punishment Trump is facing is 20 years in prison.

The minimum punishment for each of the 34 counts is nada. Zilch. Nothing. Thus there’s a wide set of possibilities: 

  • Trump could receive no prison time, merely fines.
  • Trump could be placed on probation for days, weeks, months, or years.
  • Trump could be sentenced to spend days, weeks, months, or years in prison.
  • Trump could be sentenced to, e.g. spend weekends in prison and weekdays on probation, for days, weeks, months, or years.
  • Trump could be sentenced to home detention, with ankle bracelet and monitor, for days, weeks, months, or years.
  • Or any of the above combination of the above.

It’s entirely up to Judge Merchan to decide.

Now, many pundits, Left and Right, are referencing an analysis of comparable cases brought by the Manhattan district attorney's office. That analysis suggests that only about 10% of such cases have resulted in imprisonment. On this basis, these pundits are suggesting it is “very unlikely” that Trump will go to prison.

Indeed, among the Right, many of our leading voices are saying things like “I have trust in our legal system,” “the rule of law will prevail,” “Trump will never set foot in a prison,” and so on. I will not link them to spare them embarrassment.

Because all of these people are guilty of normalcy bias in the first degree.

In the history of the Republic, 0% of Presidents have been arrested for crimes after leaving office. 0% of Presidents have been indicated for crimes after leaving office. And 0% of Presidents have been convicted of crimes after leaving office.

When your political enemies are engaging in activity for which the prior precedent was 0%… relying on them to go easy on you because there’s only a 10% precedent is tragically stupid.

In the pre-gloat hours before the verdict in Judge Juan Merchan’s courtroom, Lawfare caporegime Andrew Weissmann (“Mueller’s Pitbull”) confessed Valley Girl style from his MSNBC clubhouse perch, “. . . I mean, I am, like, now I have a man-crush on him, he is such a great judge!” Bromance on, looks like! If the two happen to frequent the same athletic club in downtown Manhattan, Judge Merchan better be careful in the post-workout shower when he bends over to pick up the soap. The Pitbull cometh!

My guess: too many white lawyers on the Mueller staff. Everybody knows now from watching the latest crop of television commercials that white people are unusually stupid and helpless and cannot cope with common problems without assistance from helpful people of color (POCs). So, God bless Alvin Bragg for finally fixing what Bob Mueller’s fifteen bloodhounds led by a pitbull somehow botched.

The former president is now convicted on thirty-four counts of book-keeping errors in furtherance of an alleged 2016 federal election violation that the Federal Election Commission declined to charge—that is, paying a porn star to sign a non-disclosure agreement about a sexual liaison—because it is not a crime under federal election law, and about which the head of the FEC, James E. “Trey” Trainor III, was barred by Judge Merchan from testifying on during the course of the trial for reasons yet unknown.

Of course, that is but one of a great many points of law that will merit appeal in what everybody—even some white people (people of non-color, PONCs)—knows was a case so crookedly contrived that it is fated to get tossed in the higher courts, and probably with harsh remonstrance to the degenerate officers of the court who brought it and adjudicated it. But you will have to wait on that because the mills of the law grind slowly.

Now, in the radiance of the full Woke gloat, we await Judge Merchan’s sentence, to be announced a mere few days before the Republican Convention in Milwaukee in early July. Jail time at Rikers? Home confinement (with ankle bracelet)? Severe travel restrictions? Reporting to a parole officer? Drug tests? Hey, No one is above the law! It is hard to imagine that the judge will demur from inflicting maximum humiliation on this wanton repeat violator (thirty-four times!) of book-keeping errors. It would tend to interfere with the presidential candidate’s campaign schedule, but so what? Where does it say in the Constitution that an election must be fair?

Or Judge Merchan could suspend all that pending appeal and just allow Mr. Trump to go about his election business free on bail. But why would he? After all the trouble he went to. And all the glory he’s reaping for it. “Joe Biden’s” party has Mr. Trump exactly where they want him, they think: pinned down like a moth in a shadow-box, inert and pathetic. (But, in reality, more like King Kong, chained in the rank basement below the stage of a Broadway theater before busting loose in midtown and upending subway cars so as to devour the little humans tumbling out like so many tic-tacs.)

Expect Mr. Trump’s lawyers to file writs to the SCOTUS requesting expedited attention to the denial of due process issues and the election interference question. The situation is comparable to the year 2000 presidential race, where the SCOTUS stepped in on probable cause that the lower court (in Florida that time) had violated the Equal Protection clause of the constitution.

In the meantime, through the luminescent fog of gloat, perhaps you did not notice that “Joe Biden” took a giant step yesterday toward commencing World War Three. The move was framed as the US gives Ukraine permission to use American missiles to strike deep within Russia. That was a bit disingenuous, you see, because Ukraine’s military lacks the know-how to actually launch the missiles, so American military “advisors” will have to be on hand to do it, meaning US military personnel will commit an act of aggression upon Russia.

Voila! That world war you’ve all been clamoring for. . .? The perfect climax to “Joe Biden’s” catastrophic, fraudulently-acquired term in office. I scent the acrid, burnt-flesh odor of miscalculation here, as of a bunch of American cities get turned into radioactive bonfires that will blot out that sublime luminosity of gloat.

Apparently, the “Joe Biden” team has never seen a Clint Eastwood movie — too lowbrow, I’m sure — and they don’t grok the role of the underdog in the American psyche. They have succeeded in making Donald Trump the greatest underdog in US history under the direst circumstances the nation may have ever faced — worse than Valley Forge, Bull Run, or the Ardennes Forest. Sinister forces are driving the country straight into a communo-fascist despotism alien to our nation’s very soul, demonic forces bent on depriving Americans of their rights, their property, and their liberty. This is the “all-is-lost” moment in that movie. This is where the hero comes back from the edge of eternal darkness, raging like Kali the Destroyer to smite the cowards arrayed against him, against the country’s honor, against the people. You asked for it. Now you’re going to get it.

All those Tea Party patriots were right when declaring that liberals “Are coming for our guns.”

The ATF is kicking down doors of licensed firearm dealers and threatening them with prison if they don’t forfeit their licenses. In the natural order of the American system, a Republican Party would have stepped up to check the wretched excesses of a Democratic Party bent on breaking everything that has allowed people to thrive in this land: property law, economic liberty, free speech, now even your physical health. This Labor Day Monday is the last moment in this epic political psychodrama that the Republican Party has an excuse to kick back and do nothing about the parade of insults flung in the nation’s face by persons who believe in nothing, and who will stop at nothing.

These insults lately include especially the perversion of law to harass and hinder political opponents, the prosecution of a foreign war by proxy in a corner of the world where America has no explicable national interest, the deliberate failure to defend the country’s borders against hordes of invaders, the rigging of elections with ballot fraud and hackable machines, the censorship of information of all kinds, and the weaponization of public health authority against the people. These are all campaigns carried out by the Democratic Party.

This fall season will be a dreadful time of testing whether the country can endure any more of this. Congress is back in session this week. Congress is the only place in the federal government where an opposition party has the authority to direct events. Mr. Comer who chairs the House Oversight Committee has assembled enough evidence of bribery and treason for Speaker Kevin McCarthy to commence an impeachment inquiry right away into the conduct of President “Joe Biden.”

I’ve used quotation marks around Mr. Biden’s name since he ascended magically to this office in 2021 because it is obvious that he is only pretending to run the executive branch, and has been since day one on January 20, 2021. His March 5, 2020, Super Tuesday victories, after a drubbing in the Iowa Caucuses (4th place) and New Hampshire primary (5th place), had an odor of supernatural contrivance. His campaign from “the basement” was a joke, and it’s still entirely possible, despite three years of massive gaslighting, that his victory in the 2020 election was a fraud.

I believe the reason “Joe Biden” was installed in the White House was to allow Barack Obama to run the executive branch and all its agencies in secret from his headquarters across town in the DC Kalorama district, and the reason he is allowed to do this is because the Democratic Party has committed so many crimes against the country that a tremendous effort had to be made to cover them up, or else scores of figures in high places could have been subject to investigation and prosecution, including Mr. Obama.

It’s also possible that an impeachment inquiry in the House will lead to evidence of Mr. Obama’s role in the Biden family’s bribery adventures abroad, including the participation in one way or another of high diplomatic officials under Mr. Obama such as US Ambassadors to Ukraine Geoffrey Pyatt and Marie Yovanovitch — as well as their nefarious roles in the first impeachment of Donald Trump. Expect former Secretary of State John Kerry to surface in that mix, too. His stepson, Christopher Heinz was in business for a time with Hunter Biden and Devon Archer during the Burisma caper.

The fabric of our society is coming apart at the seams, and you can see it with your own eyes. If you live in a major city, all you have to do is walk around, and you’ll find many signs that our core urban centers are decaying, and just about every sort of evil that you can possibly imagine is exploding all around us. Our so-called leaders continue to make stupid decisions, and now we are all going to reap the consequences. Predators are roaming our streets. American families are collapsing. Traditional moral values have been completely discarded. Young people are running wild in the streets, lawlessness is growing, and our system of government is melting down in plain sight.—Elder Son
You might hear a lot about the coming fiscal year 2024 spending crisis again starting this week. It must be resolved by the end of the month or the government supposedly runs out of money to pay for all the things that the government wastes our money on, from underwriting drag-queen story hours to paying the pensions of retired Ukrainian government officials. Wouldn’t that actually be a fine opportunity for some vigorous de-funding of government activities, such as the DOJ’s special prosecutor operation, Homeland Security’s censorship office, every dollar apportioned to Ukraine, the FBI’s continuing Jan 6 witch-hunt, the Department of Health and Human Services Covid-19 hoodoo, and probably a hundred other trespasses against the public’s sense of decency and good faith?

Or else, isn’t the country ripe for a new party that actually represents the interests of the country? More than a year remains before the 2024 election — if it is even allowed to happen. We can’t go on with no party opposed to the degeneration and destruction of the thing known as the USA. Take this final day-off of the summer to think about that. And think about the emblematic frozen face of Senate Minority leader Mitch McConnell, a human deer-in-the-headlights waiting to collide with an implacable force. You are that force.

Is there any part of the American ethos of “no one is above the law” that rings true about Joe Biden, Hillary Clinton, Bill Clinton, Barack Obama and their host of hangers-on Susan Rice, Loretta Lynch, etc.? Donald Trump, however, has stood before their onslaught, cooperated with every wayward and criminal investigator they sent after him. Jack Smith is just the latest and most corrupt to take up the role of prosecutor-in chief. The reason they selected Jack from the hundreds of possible prosecutors is that they saw how he was willing to violate every tenant of jurisprudence to indict the president of Kosovo on trumped up charges (no pun intended).

In the future, it’s very likely that subsequent generations will confuse the term “trumped up charges” with the way in which Donald Trump was harassed and persecuted during these times for literally nothing. When they couldn’t find dirt on him that stinks to all heaven on them, they just made things up, trumped them up. Those generations will not understand that it was a term that preceded Trump.

All politics aside, there’s only one person to back in the 2024 election and that’s Trump. I have my concerns with him, too, but that’s irrelevant. I understand that the way he handled the pandemic was a problem, but dear reader, I’ve watched a procession of Republicans fold like lawn chairs every time the left rolled their eyes and who were the victims? They weren’t the Republican candidates who went on their merry RINO way, but the patriotic Americans who believed in the republic, fought for the republic. Meanwhile, Democrats stood solid as stone figures behind their corrupt and evil candidates. This is how the republic was lost, on clinging to principles when in competition with demons. Everything to them is a war, while everything to Republicans is a game, a charade. They gladly forfeit the republic, OUR republic, to keep from appearing unprincipled, even if it means going to the camps. I get it, but we’re past the point of where we make the rules or choose the weapons.

We’re in a fight for the survival of America, because if Biden or any other communist gets a chance to surrender to the Chinese, they’ll do it. The Chinese have purchased most of their free-agent contracts already, so, for them, surrender would be a means of showing loyalty to their master, it’s just not the United States.

This is where we are and if we’re smart, we stand behind Trump to the bitter end, no matter how many times they indict him over a misplaced comma in a sworn statement, because the only ones who will really get hurt are the American patriots working hard to save the American dream, who still know what that is.

I know some prefer DeSantis, I like him as governor of Florida, too, but he’s tied with Vivek Ramaswamy, someone most people have never heard of. He just doesn’t have the juice to beat Trump and Ramaswamy is probably looking for a VP slot, so that leaves Trump. These are just political facts, not wishes or preferences. If we were really fighting for the survival of the republic, we’d be tearing down the GOP that’s never offered us an alternative to Trump, have never found anyone who would stand up to the left, or supported those who tried.

The amusing part is that Biden is so weak he’s being threatened from both the right and the left in the Democrat Party. You have Cornel West from the left and both RFK Jr. and Joe Manchin from the right. Manchin has floated the idea of a third party. The more the Republicans stand behind Trump the greater the chance of either a third party candidate on the Democrat side, or trading Joe out for someone else completely becomes possible. At that point, you probably still have a third party candidate, because anyone else would be too far right for Cornel West and too far left for RFK Jr. or Joe Manchin. They know Obama has really been running this disaster, so anyone from their camp will just be more of the same, just another Biden.

The Democrat communists are openly engaging in election interference, that’s how desperate they are and they’re using all the machinations of the republic to do it. This only suggests one thing, that the republic has fallen into enemy hands and must be wrested from them. They will never give it up. If by some chance, because of the disarray and desperation of the left, they find a way to lose this rigged election, it will set off a scorched-earth complete dismantling of the administrative state, no matter how loudly the RINOs howl. They too, are the clear and open enemy of law and order.

If Trump wins, the Democrat communists will rip this country apart, so there is no victory here, no matter how it turns out, but if Trump is weak, if people don’t stand behind him, the Democrats will start imposing more of their heinous policies in the coming weeks. If he still has a chance, if the indictments do nothing to weaken his support, they will be too afraid to be held accountable when Trump gets the DOJ. Supporting Trump is not protecting Trump, it’s protecting the people who make this country great. Were you aware that already 16 people in Michigan have been arrested for being delegates and Trump supporters? That’s what they’re willing to do to scare people off, it’s January 6th all over again.

The Dam Is Creaking
If Joe Biden were a Republican, he’d already have taken up residence in a room with soft walls whose door locks from the outside. The media would be blasting him as an enemy of the press. His supposedly record-shattering election victory would have been invalidated on the grounds of blatant, coordinated fraud, which was visible on Election Night in at least six states. A caretaker Administration would be in place, emergency procedures activated for a rerun at the earliest possible time.

The Constitution doesn’t contain any guidance applicable to our current situation. It’s possible that the Founding Fathers could not imagine a stolen election in these United States. Yet that is what we have had. It’s been followed by four months of openly anti-American governance designed to cement the Democrats into permanent federal power, reduce our economy to that of a Third World nation, and eliminate the notion that Americans possess any rights the government is required to respect. —Francis W.
