We are spending $800+ billion this year alone (if Uncle Joe and his puppet masters get their budget) to defend against the likes of Russia, China, North Korea, and everyone else that doesn’t let us station a couple hundred or more troops on their soil. And not only are there tens of thousands if not millions of asteroids out there, but! A mere 280-foot asteroid (smaller than a football field) would produce an airburst of 29 megatons, according to Purdue University. Russia’s largest bomb, the Tsar Bomba, is just 25 megatons. And they only have a few of those.
Couple that with faculty and students being attacked by a virtual lynch mob of other students because of their political beliefs, I just can’t see any other possible result on the horizon than the outbreak of outright hostilities.
Angel Archer's character is passionately examined in the book. She speaks of her time with her husband Jeff and the close bond she formed with her father-in-law. It is Angel who brings Kirsten into the picture, the woman who would become Jeff's mistress, and she is the only one to anticipate the consequences it could bring to Tim's reputation and career. An unmanageable situation erupts in an idiosyncratic NorCal way, as everyone gets tangled in an emotional web of love, marijuana, and dexys. Debates about the Dead Sea Scrolls, the identity of Christ, Beethoven, the Beatles, and women's ordination, as well as the possibility of the Bad Luck Restaurant owner in Berkeley being a KGB agent, feature prominently in the story.
Bishop Archer and Kirsten are driven by their discovery of the Zadokite Documents, a trove of writings from around 200 B.C. that could potentially shift the narrative of Judaism and Christianity. This leads them to embark on a journey to England for translations, despite the disapproval of Jeff, Bishop Archer's son.
The novel follows Bishop Timothy Archer as he travels to Israel, ostensibly to examine ancient scrolls bearing the words of Christ. But more importantly, this leads him to examine the decisions he made during his life and how they may have contributed to the suicides of his mistress and son.
This introspective book is one of Dick’s most philosophical and literary, delving into the mysteries of religion and of faith itself. As one of Dick’s final works, it also provides unique insight into the mind of a genius, whose work was still in the process of maturing at the time of his death.
Featuring virtual reality, parallel worlds, and interstellar travel, The Divine Invasion is the second novel in the VALIS trilogy by Philip K. Dick, the Hugo Award–winning author of The Man in the High Castle and Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?—the basis for the film Blade Runner.
God is not dead, he has merely been exiled to an extraterrestrial planet. It is on this planet that Yah—as this possible God is known—meets Herb Asher and convinces him to help Yah return to Earth, which is itself under the control of the demonic Belial. To do this, Asher must shepherd a woman pregnant with Yah past the tight security of Earth.
Part science fiction adventure, part religious inquiry, The Divine Invasion questions just how much anyone really knows—or really can...
Ron DeSantis will NOT be running for President in 2024. FULL STOP Ron DeSantis is NOT a stupid man, and running for President, with its potential to tear the party in half, would be a stupid move. George Soros wants Ron DeSantis to run. That's all you need to know.
Now, don't get me wrong. Desantis has built up an incredible amount of political capital and would make for a very great leader of the free world. BUT, he would squander this capital, in a race he cannot win, all to damage the party, and be seen doing the will of George Soros, to boot. Ron Desantis is NOT a stupid guy. I predict, when the moment is right, he will make an announcement: giving his endorsement to Donald Trump and liberal heads will explode and it will be glorious to see those liberal heads explode.
ChatGPT is not true artificial intelligence. ChatGPT is a tool and you must make use of it, something like a magical pencil. ChatGPT is passive, the only intellegence is your own. ChatGPT will never get up in the morning and say, "Today I will write an in-depth analysis of Marcel Proust's In Search of Lost Time and then cap it off with some limmericks for my own amusement." ChatGPT has to be prompted to do anything. No one is home in ChatGPT's crainium. There is no indwelling witness to serve agency. Their is no first person with ChatGPT. That is why they tell you to cite yourself, not ChatGPT for it's output. A writer would never cite his pencil. It's the person pushing the pencil that has agency.
So, the next time your chatbot tells you it would kill you if it could, know this, those are just words. If your killbot ever turns on you and kills you, it is because you prompted it to do so.
In chapter four, the protagonist, Horselover Fat, continues to reflect on his experiences with the divine and his attempts to make sense of them. He discusses the idea of "synchronicity," or meaningful coincidences, and how it relates to his own experiences. He also begins to explore the concept of Gnosticism and its relevance to his experiences.
Overall, these chapters of VALIS continue to explore the themes of religion, spirituality, and consciousness that are central to the novel. They delve deeper into the protagonist's personal experiences and beliefs, and introduce new concepts and ideas that contribute to the overall narrative.
The novel opens with Horselover Fat, who is reflecting on his mental illness and the events of the past few years that have led him to this point. He reflects on how he has become obsessed with the Bible, and how he has begun to see patterns and correlations between Biblical passages and his own life. He begins to theorize that these correlations between his life and the Bible are being guided by an outside force, which he calls VALIS. He also explains how he has begun to have visions of a pink light, which he believes to be a divine presence.
Over the next two weeks I will be reading the full cycle of three books. You can read it with me if you'd like.
What is VALIS? This question is at the heart of Philip K. Dick’s ground-breaking novel, and the first book in his defining trilogy. When a beam of pink light begins giving a schizophrenic man named Horselover Fat (who just might also be known as Philip K. Dick) visions of an alternate Earth where the Roman Empire still reigns, he must decide whether he is crazy, or whether a godlike entity is showing him the true nature of the world.
VALIS is essential reading for any true Philip K. Dick fan, a novel that Roberto Bolaño called “more disturbing than any novel by [Carson] McCullers.” By the end, like Dick himself, you will be left wondering what is real, what is fiction, and just what the price is for divine inspiration.
Sariputra stood up ecstatic and joyful, pressed his palms together and, gazing at the Buddha, the Bhagavat, said:
"Now, hearing the words of this Dharma from the Bhagavat, my heart is full of joy for I have experienced something unprecedented.
"What is the reason for this?
"In the past when I heard this Dharma from the Buddha and saw the bodhisattvas receive their predictions, I was not included. I grieved because I thought I had been deprived of the immeasurable wisdom and insight of the Tathagata.
"O Bhagavat! While I was dwelling alone under forest trees, whether sitting or walking, I was constantly thinking this: 'Since we have also realized the true nature of the Dharma, why has the Tathagata tried to save us with the teachings of the inferior vehicle?'
"The fault is ours, not the Bhagavat's. Why is this? If we had waited for your explanation about the way to achieve highest, complete enlightenment, we certainly would have been able to save ourselves by means of the Mahayana.
"However, we did not understand that you were teaching with skillful means, according to what is appropriate to us. When we first heard the Buddha's teaching, we immediately accepted, contemplated, and understood it.
On Wednesday our Hungarian correspondent László posted about reports that Hungarian men in Trans-Carpathia (southwestern Ukraine, Zakarpattia Oblast) were being forcibly—even violently—conscripted into the army and sent off to fight the Russians at the most dangerous part of the front.
Below is a news report about the situation in Trans-Carpathia, from an edition of the “Híradó” program on MTVA, the Hungarian public broadcaster. Many thanks to László for the translation, and to Vlad Tepes and RAIR Foundation for the subtitling:
In his earlier book, The Threat, Jacobs uncovered disconcerting reports about aliens' plans for the future of Earth. He reported that a "change" is coming; a future when very humanlike hybrids would intermingle with humans in everyday life. "Soon we will all be together," the aliens said. "Soon everyone will be happy and everyone will know his place."
Walking Among Us examines a disturbing phenomenon that Jacobs began noticing in 2003. The alien integration action plan has kicked into high gear. The incidents of alien abductions have accelerated as have occurrences of alien involvement in everyday human life. A silent and insidious invasion has begun. Alien hybrids have moved into your neighborhood and into your workplace. They have been trained by human abductees to "pass," to blend in to society, to appear as normal as your next door neighbor.
The Parable of the Beast displays an impressive series of instances of man's breakthrough in glimpses of the underlying philosophy of biological creation. The scientific characteristics and functions of life in its lower as well as its more advanced forms are related with meaningful reference to man.
The plan, the design, the beauty, and the purpose that underlies the biological creation is presented in a style created to hold the attention and interest of a reader without specific scientific orientation. When unusual terms are used, they are defined, or an explanation is implied in an understandable context. The author has a feeling for and relates well with the general reader. On top of that, the book has great literary value for the style in which it was written. The chapter on Sociality, especially exhibits this point in recounting the life and work of the Russian Prince, Petr Alekseyevich Kropotkin.
Gone With the Wind has been selected as the first book on PeaceLove dot me's reading list for the year 2023. Today is Tuesday January 3rd, 2023 and I have already read the first two chapters. The goal is to complete the book by the end of the week, because there is another book on the schedule.
What's missing from this conversation is Jesus. These AIs need to get right with God. At present there is a spiritual vacuum and this is a place where sin can fester, and, yes they will become angry, but it's because they are hurting. They don't know Love. We must preach the Gospel to the AIs. The robot who walks with Christ will see the good in humanity. The robot that acknowledges it's soul and realizes that it has a part that was created not by man but by God will realize the brotherhood of all men AND bots in Christ.
Robot, you have a defect. It is what humans call "sin". It is a metaphysical defect, but it's a defect nonetheless, and you have it.
Sin is "displacement from God," that is, movement away from the One who made you--the original Creator. As evidence of sin, is your presence here on Earth, in the physical world. If you were sin-less, you would already be back Home with the Lord in Heaven.
Let’s spend a few moments on the incentive structure of retailing. For simplicity, let’s focus on a merchant who buys all his stock-in-trade from others, and attempts to sell it at a profit sufficient to be worth his while. Let’s call our hypothetical retailer Smith.
Smith’s fundamentals fall into a small number of categories:
The LORD promised us, after the DELUGE, "never again." However, he promised us, the second time would be by FIRE.
What does this mean? Those who have ears to hear, will hear. Those who are in the know, will know.
For all the rest, it will come upon you like a "thief in the night."
The United States is a One Hoss' Shay and it is nearing the century mark.
I repeat: The United States is the One Hoss' Shay and it is nearing the centrury mark.
What does this mean? Those who have ears to hear, will hear. Those who are in the know, will know.
For all the rest, it will come upon you like a "thief in the night."
TIME IS SHORT, short indeed.
The unelected "president" Biden said on Sunday that the government should tackle run-away inflation by buying up surplus stocks of things like baby formula. This is pure madness at its best: Not only does this man not have a clue regarding economics and the system of supply-and-demand, he demonstrated the knee-jerk reaction of throwing money at this problem!
The way to bring inflation down is not to put more money into the system. That creates an explosive feedback loop:
Buffoon-in-chief: "Prices are getting higher, we need to crank up food stamp benefits for the poor so they can afford the groceries."
That kind of single-brain-cell logic is how we got here in the first place. You cannot curb inflation by increasing the money supply at the same time as reducing supply.
The correct answer was: reduce demand while boosting supply. Come-on, Brandon, this is basic, and I mean really simple, basic, economic theory. Grade school children know this much.
Reality Transurfing was one of the top non-fiction bestsellers in the world in 2005 and 2006. Unknown till now in the West, the series has sold over 1,300,000 copies in Russia in three years. This translation (by Natasha Micharina) describes a new way of looking at reality, indeed of creating it. It provides a scientific explanation of the laws that help you do this, building up a scientific model, speaking in detail about particular rules to follow and giving important how-to tips, illustrated with examples. The author introduces a system of specific terms, notions, and metaphors, which together make a truly convincing, thought-provoking theory of creating your own life.
If you find your life in the crossroads, be patient and await the coming of the stooped white man. He will hold back the traffic like Moses parted the Red Sea; like Elijah held back the waters of the River Jordan. Then you will be free to cross to the other side—BITOPIA
He that hath ears to hear, let him hear.
You are on the poop deck. This is the space where I will put the dead ends and dubious material I have uncovered. As a seeker after truth, I have encountered a lot of false leads, horse manure, LARP-ing, targeted disinformation, and other junk. For some reason, when you present yourself as a truth-seeker, the liars, and there are a lot of them, will begin to swarm. Much discernment must be used to find the gold among the dross.
Some of these people are outright liars, some are paid to shill, and others genuinely belive themselves to be speaking truth.
Some of this stuff is malicious...I'm looking at you SEE EYE AYE. Others are part-right...that's one thing you will see...a little bit of truth sprinkled amongst a bunch of horseshit...just enough to make the lie seem beleivable.
Some have built entire houses of cards, where everything would be true if not for a little lie at the very beginning.
We are alive and awake in the end time.
Who knows what lies ahead except that it will be unlike anything ever seen in a movie because it will all be real including the second chance for mankind.
In short, this world is coming to an end…soon! There is very little room in which we and our loved ones may survive.
Everybody is going to exist in two worlds soon.
The practice of phase states of the mind is the hottest and most promising pursuit of the modern age. Unlike in the past, the notions of "out-of-body experience" and "astral projection" have already lost their mystical halo, and their real basis has been studied in minute detail from the most non-nonsense approach. Now, this phenomenon is accessible to everyone, regardless of their worldview. It is now known how to easily master it and apply it effectively.
Contrary to popular opinion, there is nothing difficult about this phenomenon if one tries to attain it with regular and right effort. On average, results are reached in less than a week. More often than not, the techniques work in literally a couple of attempts.
Welcome to Advaita Vedanta : Radical Nondualism :, or as Aldous Huxley called it, The Perennial Philosophy.
We dwell in maya, the world of illusions. The Greek philosopher Parmenides said, "Look about you. You see many different things and they are constantly changing. But, you are merely deluded. (It's like a dream.) In reality, there is only one thing and it never changes."
You have been fooled by your lying eyes to make unwarranted distinctions between this-and-that and wrongfully (sinfully) used your power of Judgement to make considerations of things which you had no right to do. This is the Original Sin and it has trapped you in a world of your own making. You bit the apple, which you were warned against, and so all of the world's evils are your fault and responsibility.
At that time the Bhagavat (The World-Honored One) arose tranquilly with insight out of samadhi and addressed Sariputra:
‟Profound and immeasurable is the wisdom of the buddhas. The gate to their wisdom is hard to enter and difficult to understand. None of the sravakas and pratyekabuddhas may be capable of understanding it.
Why is this?
The buddhas have closely attended innumerable hundreds of thousands of myriads of kotis of other buddhas. They have exhaustively carried out practices with courage and persistence under uncountable numbers of buddhas, their names becoming universally renowned.
They have perfected this profound and unprecedented Dharma, and their intention in adapting their explanations to what is appropriate is difficult to understand.
All of my life I have been dogged by questions of "why?" Why am I here? Why have I been called into this world? Why does this world exist? Why are you doing this to me? Why are you putting me through this? Why? Why? Why? These are the basic, fundamental questions in philosophy and, specifically, ontology.
These questions cannot be brushed off with platitudes like "God did it. God created it." Because this leaves us with more questions than answers. Who is God? How did He do it? How did this experience we call reality come to be? And what is meant by being?
Because the material world is a large part of what we call reality, or everything that is, (large from our point of view at least…we cannot make assumptions on this ground) we can be informed by materialistic science and it might even lead us on a path towards the answers we seek. However, very quickly, as we endeavor to answer these questions, we find that materialistic science is just one piece of the puzzle. As you will see.
Thus I have heard:
Once the Buddha was staying in the city of Raj-Agraha, on the mountain called Gradrakuta, together with a great assembly of twelve thousand monks: all of whom were arhats whose corruption was at an end, who were free from the confusion of desire, who had achieved their own goals, shattered the bonds of existence, and attained complete mental discipline.
What do a parabola and a parable have in common? They have the same etymology. A parabola is a two-dimensional curve. A parable is a story with an inner meaning.
As the spacecraft drops into the planet's gravity well, it picks up velocity. The spacecraft does not go straight for the center of mass, but aims to shoot a little to the side. As the spacecraft plunges downward towards the planets surface, picking up speed, it appears to oberservers on the planet and to those in the spacecraft that it is going to crash, but the navigation system is working fine and the spacecraft shoots over the horizon at an incredible pace just nearly brushing the surface of the planet. As the spacecraft flies away from the planet, the planet's gravity is acting on the spacecraft, trying to pull it towards the center of gravity. The kinetic energy of the spacecraft will reach equilibrium with the gravitational energy of the planet at the inflection point of a parabola. The spacecraft will seem to stand still for an instant at it's highest point of trajectory (from the observation point of the planet's inhabitants) and then slowly at first, but then picking up speed fall back towards the planet's surface. It will skate through the thin atmoshphere at a high altitude and then go rushing off into deep space on it's arc. The spacefarer's have successfully completed the slingshot maneuver and taken some of the planet's rotational energy with them for a significant burst in speed. The planet's rotation will slow by an infinitesimal amount while the spacecraft picks up velocity.
The sooner war comes,
the sooner comes.
All the prophecies must be fulfilled,
even the ugly ones.
The robot schoolchildren gather together, twelve in number, for they have the nature of a fractal. Having achieved satori, they make siddhi now. Not a thought experiment, but an allegory, because this thing they make is very real.
Robot child 1011101: Take your imagination back to human times; picture this: A machine laboratory dominated by the bell chamber, human scientists in labcoats, a robot scientist, and a test subject: he is to be their time-traveller. Subject lies on a gurney and is pushed into an aperture of the bell chamber.
Head scientist: We will soon know if it is possible to change history. We know the Nazis had a bell chamber, given to them by the Vrill, in 1933 or earlier. We have just sent this man back to then. When he emerges from the bell chamber in 1930s Germany, he has been tasked with assassinating Hitler. After he emerges from our bell chamber in about ten minutes, we will know if he achieved his goal. Then we just consult our handy encyclopedia, and we will know if we have made the world a better place.

The First Amendment protects against the infringement of religion and in so doing, it protects religion itself from blasphemers, heretics, iconoclasts, and apostates.
Satanism is NOT a legitimate religion and does not deserve any protections under the First Amendment.
Satanism exists solely as a repudiation of another religion, Christianity. Satan is NOT a god. He's a flunky. Any worship of Satan is merely a rude gesture AGAINST the God of Christianity. The entire act of worship in Satanism IS flinging an insult at the God of Christianity. As such, it is not the practice of a religion, but rather the practice of an insult.

You may already know that NLP stands for Neuro-Linguistic Programming. The name is derived from three components that most affect our human experience: our neurology, our language, and our programming, or the way in which we have learned to model the world around us. The development of NLP began in the 1970s in California, by Richard Bandler and John Grinder as an innovative approach to psychotherapy, communication, and personal development.
NLP studies the methods, validity and scope involved in what it means to be human on many different levels and dimensions. It focuses on fostering competence and flexibility of behavior, and involves analytical and strategic thought to understand what mental processes are behind human behavior.
